Our Workplace Health and Safety Policy

We are dedicated to the welfare of our employees, the people who contract for us, the residents we encounter, the general public and environment.

MAX Build’s Workplace Health and Safety management plan, based on the national standard, AS/NZS 4801:2001, is present through all facets of operations. We have an appointed manager responsible for this plan.

Key safeguards include:

  • all work is by licensed and insured tradespeople and professionals
  • all workers have a WH&S White Card
  • all visitors and workers wear Personal Protective Equipment
  • all visitors and workers undergo a site induction
  • all projects have been audited and have specific Safe Work Methods Statements kept on site
  • we have First Aid trained staff on site
  • we undertake a Hazard Identification and Risk Management control process
  • we conduct regular toolbox meetings to identify potential risks and solutions
  • we ensure the prevention of pollution, the reduction of waste, conservation of resources and the proper disposal of hazardous and waste products
  • we take a consultative approach to management and listen to our staff
