14 Campbell St, Clovelly

"In April 2014 Max Build commenced major works at 14 Campbell Street, Clovelly.

The day-to-day management of the works has been overseen by a fulltime onsite foreman who has been very approachable and helpful when any issues have been raised. Max Build also assigned a project manager who has kept the works on schedule and provided many useful ideas at key points.

An onsite meeting has also been held with the executive committee on a fortnightly basis, and has proved an excellent forum.

The foreman has displayed a diligent approach to his work and an attention to detail, with the finished works having a high build quality. He has also paid attention to the cleanliness of the entry walkway and personally swept the area on many occasions.

In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending Max Build for carrying out building remedial works or enhancements."

"In December 2013, MAX Build contracted ClearConcepts to design, supply and install 50lm of custom fabricated stainless steel and glass balustrade to the 11th floor terrace.

Throughout the entire project, MAX Build project managed all disciplines professionally, ensured the work site was safe at all times and were always keen to assist and answer questions whenever necessary. ClearConcepts would happily endorse MAX Build as a first class remedial building firm and we look forward to working with them again in the near future."

- Andrew Walker, Director, ClearConcepts

"The Public Service Association is delighted to give a testament of works for Max Build. Max Build were contracted to remove and relay 140m2 of tiled terrace with associated waterproofing and replace 50 lm of noncompliant steel balustrade with a 1.8m high stainless steel and glass balustrade to the 11th floor terrace of the PSA (Public Services Association) building at 160 Clarence Street, Sydney CBD.

With a professional attitude to the safety issues involved with working at heights and a keen eye on the finished product Max Build produced a fine example of tiling and balustrading, vetting the materials when they arrived and proactively replacing any items that appeared below par. They worked in well with the others using the building for conferencing and meetings, and met all the delivery and program expectations, as well as giving professional design and specification advice.

Max Build is a valued contractor who we will be happy to give repeat business to."

35 Dalley St, Queenscliff

Earlier this year [2013], our company engaged MAX Build to complete remedial works at 35 Dalley Street, Queenscliff. The project, worth over $500,000, was completed on time and on budget.

The scope of works was to comply with the assessment summary claim made by the Owners’ Corporation to the Home Warranty Insurance fund. This included addressing significant waterproofing defects, rendering the facade, repairs to bathrooms, and replacing and reinstalling sliding windows.

From day one MAX Build’s James Meagher was responsible for this project: the inspection and quotation, through to meetings with consultants from HOW Insurance-appointed representative, Lend Lease. We were both impressed by James and his team, and found them to be professional and easy to deal with. There were no complaints received from unit residents or the Owners’ Corporation as the work's progressed.

Given MAX Build’s quality of building work, their reliability and honesty, I have no hesitation in recommending James’s company on any building project.
